Check your Spam Folder

  • If you're a Salesforce administrator, have your user check their Spam folder first.
  • Sometimes Salesforce communications can be directed to Spam, especially for a first-time user.
  • You may also want to check the Salesforce IP Addresses & Domains to allow for your corporate domain.
  • It's also recommended to check 'View Setup Audit Trail' and request for an 'Email Log Files' to verify that a password reset has been triggered.
  • Check your org's Email Deliverability settings and make sure it's not set to 'No Access'.
  • If the reset password email is still not received by the recipient, check with your IT team if Email Relay can be temporarily turned off since it may have blocked the email.

- Users who have access to both the portal and site will receive a site password reset link. After the reset, they can use the same password for both the portal and site.
