Unable to Complete the Authentication of Outlook Integration

While using Outlook to initially authenticate with Outlook Integration, Users are greeted with a white screen instead of successful authentication. This issue is due to Salesforce domains being added to the Trusted Sites in Internet Options but the option "Enable Protected Mode" isn’t enabled for Trusted Sites.  

Solución


How to Enable Protected Mode

 
  1. Open the Internet Explorer Settings by entering inetcpl.cpl or Internet Options on the Windows Search box on your taskbar.
  2. Click Security tab.
  3. Click Trusted Sites zone.
  4. Make sure the Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer) check box is selected.

Note: 
  • As a workaround, users can authenticate via Outlook on the web (OWA sometimes referred to as Webmail), and they will be authenticated when they attempt to access Outlook Integration from Outlook in the future.
