Access Salesforce Events in Salesforce for Android and iOS

Monthly View of Salesforce Events

• The UI for New Salesforce Mobile App and 'Lighting on tablet' show a Monthly calendar view.
• This was introduced in Winter '21 (228) release notes: See the Bigger Picture with a Monthly Calendar View.
• For Monthly View to work properly, Users must have the access required for Lightning Experience Calendars, listed here: Error 'You no longer have access to fields or filters defined in this Calendar'

Weekly View of Salesforce Events

• The 'Legacy tablet experience (default)' UI shows a Weekly date bar of Events.
• See Events of a particular day by tapping on a date in the date bar.
• Swipe to the left and right to see other weeks.
• Note: The date bar ONLY shows Events up to twelve weeks in the future and four weeks prior. You may see an error if you try to navigate to an event that is more than 12 weeks in the future or 4 weeks in the past.

Events in the Mobile Navigation Menu

• Events are included in the 'Mobile Only' section of the Navigation Menu by default.
• Please see Customize the Mobile Only Default Navigation Menu in the Salesforce Mobile App.

Using the 'My Events' List

• Events list can now show a max. of 20 Events per day
• Events are sorted by Start Time. 
• All-day and multi-day Events are displayed at the top of the list.
• When browsing the Event list, the Events list doesn't automatically refresh to show New, Edited, or Deleted Events.  You must pull down on the Event list to refresh the Events list for the current day
• Public and Shared Calendars are presently NOT supported in the Salesforce for Android and iOS hybrid app

Event Reminders

• Note: Push Notifications for Event reminders are not generally available and supported in the Salesforce Mobile App for Android and iOS at this time.
