Users must continuously verify their identity when they login to the Salesforce Mobile App

상세 설명

There are circumstances in which users will be asked several times to activate their device when logging into Salesforce mobile app. This situation is normally caused by logging in from an unauthenticated IP address such as when users are traveling to different locations.

솔루션

For organizations with trusted IP ranges under Network Access or IP restrictions at profile level, there are several methods which will allow Salesforce for Android and iOS users to authenticate. One option is to relax the app's IP restrictions.

Here is how:

Classic Salesforce UI

  1. Navigate to Administer | Manage Apps | Connected Apps
  2. Drill into the appropriate Connected App, Salesforce for iOS or Salesforce for Android, to view the Connected App Detail
  3. Under OAuth policies, set IP Restrictions to 'Relax IP restrictions'

Lightning Experience UI
  1. Navigate to Setup | Apps | Connected Apps | Manage Connected Apps
  2. Drill into the appropriate Connected App, Salesforce for iOS or Salesforce for Android, to view the Connected App Detail
  3. Under OAuth policies, set IP Restrictions to 'Relax IP restrictions'

Another option is to have your Users login to the Salesforce mobile app via their company's WiFi, VPN (Virtual Private Network). Note: System Admins would still need to have the VPN IP addresses added at the Profile level.

Additional Information:

Important:

  • If you want to maintain your IP restrictions policy under the Profile level, please select IP Relaxation setting to Enforce IP restrictions.
  • IP relaxation for the connected app using open ID SSO is not supported.
