Résolution

Review the following workarounds to export a chart as an image.  Please also vote on the Salesforce Idea listed in the Additional Resources section.

A)  Schedule a Dashboard Refresh and send it to email to your email address

B)   Post the desired Component's image to Chatter
This allows users with access to dashboards to post static dashboard component image to Chatter Feeds. These images can then be printed or saved locally, if desired. The following features must also be enabled:

  • "Dashboard Component Snapshots"
    • Salesforce Classic: Setup | Customize | Reports & Dashboard | Reports and Dashboards settings
    • Salesforce Lightning: Setup | Feature settings | Analytics | Reports and Dashboards settings
  • "Feed Tracking" for Dashboards in Chatter
    • Salesforce Classic: Setup | Customize | Chatter | Feed Tracking
    • Salesforce Lightning: Setup | Feature settings | Chatter | Feed Tracking

C)  Right-click the dashboard component and select "Save As"
Save the static image of the component which you can use to view or print from your computer.
