Set up Web-to-Lead auto-response email to come from the new lead owner

It is possible to set it up the Web to Lead auto response, so that the email always comes from the new lead owner. The procedure is to mirror the lead assignment rules in your lead auto response rules.

Solución
Here is an example:
  1. A lead assignment rule routes all leads where "lead state equals CA" to lead owner A.
  2. Create a lead auto response rule with the same criteria - "lead state equals CA.".
  3. Set the email template on this auto response rule to come from the lead owner designated in your lead assignment rule.

Now, when a lead is submitted on your web to lead form with CA as the state, both rules fire and the following happens:
  1. Lead owner A gets the lead.
  2. The user gets an email from lead owner A.
