Salesforce Error 'API not enabled for this Organization or Partner'

The error "API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner" indicates that you're trying to do an API call and don't have the API Enabled setting selected.

Lösning
  1. First, check on your Organization settings. For some Organizations, it will not be possible to turn this option on. Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance and Developer editions has the API enabled by default.  Group, Essentials and Professional Customers will not have API enabled.  Professional customers can purchase this feature as an add-on.  For more information, review Salesforce editions with API access.   To find the edition being used, review this article .
  2. If you have determined your organization is using the correct edition to have the API enabled flag, let's check on the user's permissions.  For the user getting the error, find the profile assigned to that user.  Then on the Profile, verify that the "API Enabled" settings is checked. 
  • In the Lightning Experience user interface, go to Set up | Users | Profiles. In Classic, click Setup | Administration Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.  It is also possible to simply find the user in the All Users list and select the Profile next to the user, to view the Profile settings.
 
  • Select the profile that you need to check, and if not using the Enhanced User Profile Interface, scroll down to Administrative Permissions .  Select API Enabled, if it is not enabled.

     

  • If using the Enhanced User Profile Interface, select the profile that you need to check, scroll down and select System Permissions.  Select  API Enabled if not enabled.
