Report, Dashboard, or List View Chart colors do not match manually assigned picklist value colors

Publiceringsdatum: May 5, 2026
Beskrivning

Generally, dashboard, report and list view charts will show the manually assigned colors for the picklist values.

When the colors of the chart do not match the manually assigned colors of the picklist values, the most common explanation is because the "High-Contrast Palette on Charts" feature has been enabled for the user.

High-Contrast Palette on Charts — This permission indicates whether the option to set an alternate color palette for charts has been enabled. This alternate palette has been optimized for use by color-blind users.

NOTE: A Bar graph will not display the colors set on the picklist field. This kind of graph only displays a single color. There is an existing Idea requesting this feature.Additionally, If any picklist value of any field has a predefined chart color and if we try to use the same field in any dashboard component for grouping or stacking, then there is no impact of the dashboard color palette in the dashboard component.
