Salesforce for Outlook Error 'You have one or more Outlook sync folders missing'

Publiceringsdatum: Apr 30, 2026
Beskrivning

Issue:

When running Outlook sync with Salesforce for Outlook (SFO), the sync process fails and a pop-up notification appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen displaying the following error:
'You have one or more Outlook sync folders missing. If the location of your sync folders changed, select the folders in Salesforce for Outlook Settings.'
This error commonly occurs when Outlook or Salesforce for Outlook (SFO) is configured to run with elevated permissions (such as administrator mode) or in compatibility mode, which prevents SFO from accessing the default sync folders (Contacts, Events, or Tasks) in Outlook.
