You can change ownership of some Objects within Salesforce for Android and iOS.

Add the Change Owner Action to the Mobile Action Bar

  • 'Change Owner' Publisher Action should be added to the 'Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions' section of the enhanced page layout for the object.
  • For more details on how the Action Bar is configured, please see Salesforce Mobile App Action Bar .

 

Add the Change Owner Action to the List Item Actions

  • A User sees the Change Owner action when they swipe left on a record in a List View, if both these conditions are true:
    • The Change Owner is supported for that Object at Mobile
    • If a User has the 'Transfer Record' permission
  • Note: if both those conditions are true, there is no option to hide the Change Owner action from List Item actions
  • For more details on how List Item Actions are provided, please see List Item Actions in the Salesforce Mobile App.


Add the Standard Owner Field to the Page Layout

  • Note: If the standard Owner field is not on the Record Page Layout, then tapping the action in the Salesforce Mobile App will only show a blank screen and the 'Cancel' button.
