Asynchronous Apex refers to Apex code that runs outside the standard synchronous execution model in Salesforce. This includes Batch Apex, future methods, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
Each Salesforce org has a governor limit on the maximum number of asynchronous Apex method executions allowed per 24-hour period: 250,000, or the number of user licenses multiplied by 200 — whichever is greater.
When this limit is exceeded, a "Future Request Limit exceeded" error occurs. This limit can be increased only under emergency situations.
Salesforce governor limits cannot be increased as a standard support request. The following policy applies to limit increase requests:
