Mass Update Lead fields on converted Leads

Permission Required: View and Edit Converted Leads
 

Prepare your update file

1. Follow instructions to Export Data, or Create a Report to View Converted Leads and Export a Report.
2. In your export, include the existing Lead IDs and fields you would like to update.
3. Update the values in your .csv file.
4. Review Insert, Update, or Delete Data Using Data Loader for guidance on updating the Lead object.
    

Notes:

• The following Lead fields can not be updated: ConvertedDate, ConvertedAccountId, ConvertedContactId, and ConvertedOpportunityId.
• When performing an update via the API and using Data Loader, it is recommended to set the batch size to 1 as outlined in Configure Data Loader.
•  'Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation' and 'Update Records with Inactive Owners' does not give access to converted leads.
