Risoluzione

This article explains why authenticated Salesforce Professional Edition organizations may encounter an Apex feature requirements error when installing a package from AppExchange, and describes how to verify and resolve the issue.

Professional Edition has limitations and cannot use some features available to Developer, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions.

To confirm that this is the issue:

  • Check the Requirements section of the AppExchange listing to verify Professional Edition is listed.
  • Check the Support section of the AppExchange listing to contact the package developer. The developer will be able to check the Apex Classes within the package to determine if any are not available in Professional Edition.

For a full listing of feature differences between Salesforce Editions and availability of specific features in Professional Edition see the Full Edition Comparison Chart.
