System Administrators cannot add more than 5 IP addresses to a profile

A System Administrator cannot apply more than 5 IP limitations to a profile if the "IP Restrict Requests" function is activated under the Profile.

Note: This setting can prevent you from accessing your organization in the Help and Training Portal when you login using your Salesforce login to Trailblazer.me

To determine if this feature is enabled in your Organization:
Salesforce Classic UI:
If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'OFF'
1. Go to Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, then click Edit.
3. Under 'Administrative Permissions' verify that 'IP Restrict Request' is enabled.

If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'ON'
1. Go to Setup | Manage Users | Profiles
2. Click on the Profile, then click App Permissions.
3. Under 'Partner Relationship Management' verify that 'IP Restrict Request' is enabled.

New Lightning UI:
If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'OFF'
1. Click on the top-right Gear icon | Setup Home | Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, and then click Edit.
3. Under 'Administrative Permissions' verify that 'IP Restrict Request' is enabled.

If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'ON'
1. Click on the top-right Gear icon | Setup Home | Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, then click App Permissions.
3. Under 'Partner Relationship Management' verify that 'IP Restrict Request' is enabled.

To disable the 'IP Restrict Requests' feature

Salesforce classic UI:
If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'OFF'
1. Go to Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, and then click Edit.
3. Under 'Administrative Permissions' deselect IP Restrict Request.

If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'ON'
1. Go to Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, then click App Permissions.
3. Click Edit | under 'Partner Relationship Management' deselect IP Restrict Request.

New Lightning UI:
If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'OFF'
1. Click on top-right Gear icon | Setup Home | Users | Profiles
2. Click on the Profile, and then click Edit.
3. Under 'Administrative Permissions' deselect IP Restrict Request.

If 'Enable Enhanced User Interface' is 'ON'
1. Click on the top-right Gear icon | Setup Home | Users | Profiles.
2. Click on the Profile, then click App Permissions.
