Password Policies and the 'Password Never Expires' permission

The 'Password Never Expires' administrative permission in a Profile takes precedence over the User passwords expire in setting within Password Policies.

• Permission Enabled: If the 'Password Never Expires' permission is checked in a user's Profile, the password will never expire, even if a specific duration is set in Password Policies within Setup.
• Permission Disabled: If the Password Never Expires permission is not checked on the user's profile, the expiration duration defined in Password Policies applies to the user.

NOTE: Permission Sets can also be utilized to apply the 'Password Never Expires' permission on a per-user basis.
