Users Can See Price Books They Don't Have Access To

Description

In Salesforce CRM, end users may be able to view and use Price Books that they do not have access to, even when the Organization-Wide Default (OWD) for Price Books is set to 'No Access' and the user has not been added to any Price Book sharing rule.

Résolution

Users with the Edit permission on Price Books (granted via Profile or Permission Set) are granted access to all Price Books in Salesforce, regardless of Organization-Wide Default settings. If you require that an end user cannot see all Price Books, remove the 'Edit' permission on Price Books from their Profile or Permission Set. For more information, see Sharing Price Books.
