Error 'Field Integrity Exception' when you update Data Categories via API

When you use Data Loader to insert Data Category associations on Knowledge Articles, this error is returned:

'Field Integrity Exception: Unknown (Attempt To Categorize A Record On Multiple Nodes Of A Same Branch)'
Løsning


This error will be returned when you attempt to associate a Data Category with an article that has already been associated to a parent Data Category.

For example, if there is a parent category named "Products" already assigned to an Article, your attempt to insert an association to its child category named "Laptops" would fail.

If only the child Data Category should be associated, delete the parent Data Category's association first.
