Send device logs from Salesforce for Android and iOS to Salesforce Support

Description


Device logs help Salesforce Support diagnose crash and performance issues in the Salesforce Mobile App. If you need to send event logs to Salesforce Support to troubleshoot issues you experience with the Salesforce Mobile App for iOS and Android, follow the steps outlined below.

NOTE : These logs are for Technical Support to review for troubleshooting purposes, we cannot provide log files to customers directly.

Résolution

Activate Lightning Logging :

  1. Open the Salesforce Mobile App.
  2. Tap the Menu icon on the lower right side of the app.
  3. Tap your profile photo on the upper left.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Advanced.(On iOS, tap Enable Lightning Logging. On Android, continue to Step 6.)
  6. Tap Lightning Settings.
  7. Tap the Lighting Event Logging checkbox.


Send Event logs after your reproduce the issue :

  1. Open the Salesforce Mobile App.
  2. Tap the Menu icon on the lower right side of the app.
  3. Tap your profile photo on the upper left.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Advanced.
  6. Tap Send Event Logs.
  7. In the CC/BCC field, type in the email address of the Salesforce Support Engineer to whom you will send the email.
