In Salesforce Activity Reports for Tasks and Events, two similar fields are available: Comment and Full Comment. These fields display different amounts of data from the Activity's comment text area. This article explains the difference between these two fields and when each is populated.
A Comment will display up to 1000 characters from the original Activity Field.
Full Comments will display the entire comment from the long text Activity Field. In Activities reports, the Full Comments field will contain the entire body of any emails sent from Salesforce.
The Full Comments field is a field which is automatically available in Standard Reports, it is not available in Custom Report Types.
