Identity Connect 'SSO login' button does not show on My Domain login screen

Publish Date: Apr 24, 2026
Description

Once Identity Connect has been configured as your organization's Identity Provider (IdP), end users can navigate to https://identity-connect-hostname:port/connect/login, and be redirected to Salesforce upon authenticating into Identity Connect.

Alternatively, end users may navigate to your My Domain login page (e.g. https://my-domain.my.salesforce.com) and log in via Identity Connect using the "SSO login" button. If this button does not appear on the My Domain login page, it means the Identity Connect authentication service has not been enabled in the My Domain Authentication Configuration settings.

Resolution

To ensure the "SSO login" button is available on your My Domain login page, follow these steps:

  1. From Setup, enter My Domain in the Quick Find box, then select My Domain.
  2. Scroll down to the Authentication Configuration section.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Authentication Service section, locate the Identity Connect checkbox.
  5. Check the box for Identity Connect.
  6. Click Save.
