Error 'Destination URL not reset' when you log in to Data Loader.

Description

When you login to Data Loader, you may encounter an error message:

'Destination URL not reset. The URL returned from login must be set in the SforceService'

 

 

Resolution

Steps to resolve the 'Destination URL not reset' Data Loader sign in error

1. Open your Data Loader settings.
2. Directly below the login URL, select the Reset URL on Login check box.
3. Click OK to save.
4. Try to log in again.
