Increase Salesforce Multi-Select Picklist Values Limit

Date de publication: Apr 22, 2026
Description

This article explains how to request an increase to the maximum number of values allowed in a Salesforce Multi-Select Picklist field. Multi-Select Picklist fields allow users to select multiple values from a predefined list within a single field. The default limit should now be set to 500 for new and existing organizations — however, some organizations may find their current limit is set below this value and will need Salesforce Support to increase it. For example, a product team using a Multi-Select Picklist to track supported features, regions, or categories may need the full 500 values to accurately represent their data.
