The Tracking rates for Click Rate, Open Rate, and Unsubscribe Rate report differently in Marketing Cloud than Salesforce due to a difference in the rate calculation.
If there were 100 sent, 10 clicked, and 10 bounces:
You will need to create your own custom field and apply a formula on that field "Number_of_Unique_Clicks__c / Number_Delivered__c" to get the desired results.
Part A- Create custom fields Number_of_Unique_Clicks__c and Number_Delivered__c by following the below steps:
1. Open Go to email send object page from setup
2. Create New Custom field
3. Select Field Type -Number and click Next
4. Fill the necessary fields like Field label, Length and Decimal Places
5. Save the field
Part B- Create Formula field Click_Through_ Rate _c by following below steps:
1. Open Go to email send object page from setup
2. Create New Custom field
3. Select Field Type Formula and click Next
4. In Field Label, type Label for the formula field. (The Field Name will get populate automatically)
5. Select the type of data ‘Percent’ the formula should return.
6. Click Next. (Formula Editor will get open.)
7. Add below formula: Number_of_Unique_Clicks__c / Number_Delivered__c
8. Save
The denominator is the part that makes the rates match. Make the same edit to change the denominator to Number Delivered for 'Open Rate' and 'Unsubscribe Rate' in order for the rates match.
