Work.com (WDC): Reward Funds or Reward Fund Types Tab Not Visible

In Work.com (WDC) — Salesforce's employee performance and recognition platform — the Reward Funds and Reward Fund Types tabs may not be visible in your org. This typically occurs for one of two reasons:

  1. Tangible Rewards has not been enabled in your org's WDC Settings.
  2. The user does not have a WDC (Work.com) license assigned.
Løsning

Reason 1: Enable Tangible Rewards
If Tangible Rewards is not enabled, your Salesforce Administrator can enable it by following these steps:

  1. Login in to Salesforce and Navigate to Setup | Customize | WDC | Settings
  2. Check the box to enable Restrict Custom Badge Creators. By default, all users can create custom badges. Enable this setting to restrict badge creation to a subset of users

Once Tangible Rewards is enabled, the Reward Funds and Reward Fund Types tabs become visible to users with the appropriate license.

Reason 2: Assign a Work.com License
If the user does not have a WDC license, the Salesforce Administrator can assign one by following these steps:

  1. Log in to Salesforce and navigate to Setup > Manage Users > Users.
  2. Search for the affected user's name in the list and click on it.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Enable the checkbox next to the WDC User field.
  5. Click Save.

After the license is assigned, the user can see the Reward Funds and Reward Fund Types tabs.
