Increase the 'Content Delivery Bandwidth' Limit

Available in: Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.

Organizations may find that the default Content Delivery Bandwidth Limit (MB) of 51,200 MB (50 GB) is insufficient for their needs. In these scenarios, Salesforce Support can assist in increasing this limit. The maximum limit is on a per Case basis. 

Before requesting this limit increase, it's best to familiarize yourself with the following documentation: Content Delivery Bandwidth limit and Salesforce CRM Content Limits.

If you would like to move forward with increasing this limit, have a System Administrator create a case with the Feature Activations & Limits Team and provide the following:
 
  1. The Organization ID
  2. What is the requested limit?
  3. A detailed business case for the requested limit
  4. What is the reason for the increase in Delivery Request Rate?
  5. Where is the content being hosted and/or delivered?
  6. What is the average size of the file(s)?
  7. What are the types of file(s) or the content of the file(s)?
  8. What is the estimated number of downloads per day?
 
Include as many details as you can. Support will review the case and action it as needed.
