How to Enable User Tab Personalization (Customize My Tabs) in Salesforce Service Console

公開日: Jul 5, 2026
説明

In Salesforce Service Console, administrators can allow users to personalize the navigation tabs displayed in the console. This setting, called Customize My Tabs, lets individual users hide, show, and reorder navigation items to match their workflow — without requiring an administrator to reconfigure the app for them.
This article explains how to enable Customize My Tabs in both Salesforce Classic and Salesforce Lightning Experience.

解決策

Administrators can enable Customize My Tabs from the App settings in both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience. Once enabled, users can access Customize My Tabs from the Navigation menu in the Console to hide, display, and organize the items that matter most to them.

Enable Customize My Tabs in Salesforce Classic

Navigate to: Setup > Create > Apps > [Select the Console App] > Edit > Enable 'Show Customize My Tabs on the Navigation Tab' > Save.

Enable Customize My Tabs in Salesforce Lightning Experience

Navigate to: Setup (Gear icon) > Apps > App Manager > [Select the Console App] > Edit > App Options > Ensure "Disable end user personalization of nav items in this app" is unchecked > Save.
