Enable Salesforce 'Chatter Questions'

Enables the ability for users to ask questions directly in their Chatter feed, in groups, and on records via the Chatter Publisher. This feature should be enabled by default for all orgs.

Available Editions:

Essentials, Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer

Default State:

Enabled for all orgs

How to Enable:

Submit an activation request with Salesforce Support (if not already on)

Post-Enable Step:

Add the Question action to the global publisher layout

To submit an activation request for Chatter Questions, you'll need assistance from Salesforce Support.

Requesting Activation

If you've reviewed all relevant documentation and still need assistance with enabling this feature, please have a System Administrator create an Activations Request with Salesforce Support. 

Post Activation Steps

Once enabled, your Administrator can add the Question action to the global publisher layout, so users can start using Chatter Questions.
