Disable the execution of workflows and processes when using the Data Import Wizard

By default, the Data Import Wizard does not fire workflow rules and processes. Instead, it has an optional checkbox to "Trigger workflow rules and processes for new and updated records.". When you enable this checkbox, it fires workflow rules and processes when their criteria are met by the imported records.

Notes:

• If "Trigger workflow rules and processes for new and updated records." is not enabled, Apex triggers still fire.
• Do not enable "Trigger workflow rules and processes for new and updated records." if you do not want workflow rules and processes being fired when you use the Data Import Wizard.
