When using Salesforce for Android and iOS (the Salesforce mobile app), embedded Visualforce pages included in a standard page layout are not immediately interactive when the record detail page loads.
Users must first tap or select the embedded Visualforce page to activate it before they can interact with its content. This behavior differs from the Salesforce full browser site, which allows inline interaction with Visualforce pages without requiring a separate selection step.
This behavior is working as designed in Salesforce for Android and iOS.
When a user taps or selects an embedded Visualforce page in Salesforce for Android or iOS, the app navigates to a separate page within the mobile app where the user can interact with the Visualforce page content.
After completing the interaction, the user must tap the Back button to return to the record's detail view.
This design is due to how the Salesforce mobile app handles Visualforce pages within an embedded iframe context. The mobile app wraps Visualforce pages in an iframe, and full inline interaction requires this separate navigation step.
