Embedded Visualforce pages are only interactive once selected in Salesforce app

Remember, when using Salesforce for Android and iOS:

  • Any embedded Visualforce pages in a standard layout will have to first be selected before they can be interacted with.
  • The mobile app is different then the full site which allows inline interaction with VF pages.

When Users tap or select a Visualforce page in Salesforce for Android and iOS

  • They will be taken to another page inside of Salesforce for Android and iOS where they can interact with the page.
  • Then they will need to tap the Back button to return to the details view.
