Dashboard access error: "Insufficient privileges"

Publiceringsdatum: Apr 9, 2023
Beskrivning

The 'Insufficient privileges' error appears when Users with the following licenses attempt to access a dashboard:

  • Chatter
  • Force.com Lightning Platform
  • Customer Portal
  • Company Community Portal
  • Partner Portal

For a non-Dynamic Dashboard, the error occurs because the Running User for the dashboard has a different license type than the User attempting to access it.

For a Dynamic Dashboard, the error occurs because the original Running User or Creator of the dashboard likely has a full Salesforce.com license.
