When uploading or updating a dataset from external data, you may receive an error regarding converting CSV data to "bin" format. This appears two ways:
1. Add a "known good" dummy row, ensuring that all the cells are formatted correctly
2. Use that CSV to create/update a dataset. If creating a new dataset, ensure that the metadata is set correctly through the "Preview Data" screen
3. This will generate an error log. This can be retrieved from the Data Monitor and will allow you to determine the root cause
1. Truncate the CSV to less than 10k rows
2. Add a "known good" dummy row, ensuring that all the cells are formatted correctly
3. Use that CSV to create/update a dataset. If creating a new dataset, ensure that the metadata is set correctly through the "Preview Data" screen
4. This will generate an error log. This can be retrieved from the Data Monitor and will allow you to determine the root cause
More information about retrieving error logs can be found here.
