  • Error message 'You do not have the level of access necessary to perform the operation you requested. Please contact the owner of the record or your administrator if access is necessary'
  • The 'Activity History' related list blinks and shows fewer records than displayed in the Record Count on the 'Related' tab.

Why you cannot see all activities in Activity History in Salesforce Mobile App?

  • The activities you are attempting to access are over 365 days old (typical archival period) and archived.
  • You can access them through Salesforce Classic, but Salesforce Mobile App cannot access archived activities through its API.


Activities are archived according to the following criteria: 

  • Events - due more than 365 days ago.
  • Closed tasks - due more than 365 days ago.
  • Closed tasks - created more than 365 days ago, if they have no due date.
