Unable to Update the Forecast Category Field on a Salesforce Opportunity

You might notice that some users, including the System Administrator, are unable to edit the Forecast Category field on Opportunity records.
Lösung

The Forecast Category field is controlled by the Opportunity Owner to ensure forecast accuracy. Allowing other users to edit this field could result in forecasts that don't reflect the owner's sales judgment. As a workaround, System Administrators can use an Autolaunched Flow to update the Forecast Category on behalf of another user as described in below article
