Edit Knowledge Article to resize images

In Salesforce Classic, when users edit a Knowledge Article's Rich Text Area field in Google Chrome the option to resize an image is not available.

This is a known application limitation of working with images contained in Knowledge RTA fields in Salesforce Classic.

As a workaround, edit Rich Text Area fields and resize an images for Knowledge Articles in Salesforce Classic using an alternative supported browser such as Firefox.


In Lightning Knowledge, it's now possible to Resize Images in Rich Text Fields in Google Chrome however, this feature enhancement only applies to editing Knowledge Articles in Lightning Experience and not Salesforce Classic.

To resize an image contained in a Knowledge Article rich text area field in other situations, such as in Salesforce Classic using Chrome, you can click the Rich Text Editor "Source" button or tool to manually resize the image by modifying the underlying HTML.
