'Available' and 'Default' Picklist Values not retained when you deploy a record type in a Change Set

When deploying a record type using a Change Set, the selected picklist values and default value in that Record Type are not retained in the destination organization. 
Løsning
This happens if the picklist field is not included in the Outbound Change Set. To resolve the issue, please include the picklist field as one of the required Dependencies in the Change Set. 

From the Source Organization:
  1. Navigate to setup and enter Outbound Change Sets into the Quick Find box.
  2. Select Outbound Change Sets.
  3. Create a New Change Set, or Edit an Existing Change Set.
  4. Add the Record Type under the Change Set Components if necessary.
  5. Click on View/Add Dependencies.
  6. Select the required dependencies, including the picklist fields.
  7. Click Add to Change Set.
  8. Upload the Change Set.
  9. Validate and Deploy the Change Set in the destination organization.
Review the Record Type in the target organization, and it should now reflect the correct selected and default values.
