Increase 'Maximum Number of Dynamic Dashboards' limit

Julkaisupäivä: Jul 2, 2026
Kuvaus

This article explains how to request an increase to the maximum number of Dynamic Dashboards permitted within your Salesforce organization. Dynamic Dashboards allow each user to see data personalized to their own access level, rather than viewing data from a single shared perspective. Organizations with greater reporting needs may require more than the default number of Dynamic Dashboards to support their teams.

For example, a large enterprise with separate Sales and Service teams may need additional Dynamic Dashboards to provide individualized views across multiple departments.

Available Editions

Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

Limit Details:

Default Limit:

  • Enterprise Edition: up to 5 per organization.
  • Performance and Unlimited Edition: up to 10 per organization.
  • Developer Edition: up to 3 per organization.

Notes:

  • This is a paid feature request.
  • This limit cannot be increased for organizations utilizing the LPL functionality.
  • If you would like to add more Dynamic Dashboard licenses to your sandbox without refreshing, please review Match production and sandbox licenses without a sandbox refresh.
  • You can vote for the Increase Dynamic Dashboard limits on Salesforce Ideas.
  • If you do not want to consider an increase, you can change the dynamic dashboard to static.
  • If the dynamic dashboard limit is decreased (e.g., due to a license/edition change or Salesforce adjusting entitlements) existing dynamic dashboards will continue to work. They won't be automatically deleted or disabled. Users can still view and run them as before. However, you'll be blocked from creating new ones or editing existing ones in ways that would re-save them as dynamic dashboards.
