Total logins do not match between a 'User' report and the 'Company Information' page

Udgivelsesdato: Jul 7, 2026
Beskrivelse

Administrators may notice a discrepancy between the login count shown in a User Login Report and the "Monthly Logins Used" value displayed on the Company Information page. The User Login Report typically shows a higher number than the Company Information page.
This discrepancy occurs because the two sources count logins differently. The "Monthly Logins Used" counter on Company Information records only successful login attempts, whereas a User Login Report captures all login attempts by default — including both successful and unsuccessful attempts such as invalid password errors and restricted IP access failures.

Why Login Counts Differ

The "Monthly Logins Used" numbers on the Company Information page are derived from successful login attempts only. A User Login Report, by default, does not filter for successful logins. Without a filter applied, the report captures all login attempts — both successful and unsuccessful — which is why the total number appears higher.

How to Align the Report Count with Company Information

To align the User Login Report with the Company Information count, add the filter LoginStatus = 'Success' to your report. This ensures only successful login attempts are counted, matching the logic used by the Company Information page.
Note: For real-time login usage tracking, use the "Monthly Logins Used" value on the Company Information page rather than the report.
