Unable to delete a Routing Configuration— Insufficient Privileges Error"

When an administrator follows the below click path:


In Salesforce Classic: Setup | Customize | Omni-Channel | Routing Configurations
In Lightning Experience: Gear icon | Setup | Feature Settings | Service | Omni-Channel | Routing Configurations
 

The system administrator gets the below error when trying to delete an unwanted Routing Configuration:
 

Insufficient Privileges
You do not have the level of access necessary to perform the operation you requested. Please contact the owner of the record or your administrator if access is necessary.

This error typically occurs because the Routing Configuration is still associated with one or more Queues. Omni-Channel prevents deletion of any Routing Configuration that is in active use by a Queue.

Lösning

Routing Configurations are most likely associated to an existing queue. They need to be removed from the queue settings to be deleted from the Omni-Channel Routing Configurations settings.

Below are the steps to remove the Routing Configuration queue and resolve the issue:

In Salesforce Classic
  1. Find the related queue in the 'Related Queue' section in the Routing Configuration.
  2. Open the related queue and click Edit.
  3. In the ‘Configuration with Omni-Channel Routing’ section of the queue, remove the routing configuration name that you wish to delete from the queue settings.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Go to Setup | Customize | Omni-Channel | Routing Configurations.
  6. Click Del next to the one that you wish to delete.
  7. Click Ok.

In Lightning Experience
  1. Click on the Gear icon | Setup | Users | Queues.
  2. Find the related queue in the 'Related Queue' section in the Routing Configuration.
  3. Open the related queue and click Edit.
  4. In the ‘Configuration with Omni-Channel Routing’ section of the Queue, remove the routing configuration name that you wish to delete from the queue settings.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click on the Gear icon | Setup | Feature Settings | Service | Omni-Channel | Routing Configurations.
  7. Click Del next to the one that you wish to delete.
  8. Click Ok.

You should now be able to delete that Routing Configuration in Omni-Channel.
