Error 'Mismatched integration value and ISO code for field' on Contact creation

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Jun 14, 2026
Beschreibung

When creating a Salesforce Contact from the Account's Contact related list, the system automatically attempts to copy the Account's address to the new Contact's Mailing Address field. If the Contact page layout does not include the Mailing Address field, a State/Country Picklist integration error occurs.

When creating a Contact using the Contact related list on the Account; and the Account has an address, we enter all our information and attempt to save and get the following error:

Error: Invalid Data.
Review all error messages below to correct your data.
Mismatched integration value and ISO code for field (Related field: Mailing Country Code)

Lösung

Root Cause

This is most likely because you do not have the 'Mailing Address' field on the Contact page layout. When you create a Contact from the Account, the system attempts to fill in the address on the Contact. This fails when the Contact does not have the 'Mailing Address' field, and causes the error.

Resolution Options

To resolve this, you can do one of the following;

  1. Add the 'Mailing Address' on the Contact page layout.
  2. Create the Contact via the Contact tab, opposed to the Contact related list on the Account object.
