If a Salesforce User attempts too many invalid log in attempts, they will be locked out of the application temporarily. In these scenarios, an Admin needs to Unlock their user record.
This article explains the unique behavior of the user 'Unlock' button and subsequent User Detail 'landing page' when the button is clicked.
When an administrator clicks the 'Unlock' button on the User Detail Page, a backend action initiates and the administrator is brought back to a User Detail 'landing page'.
Due to the way the Unlock action initiates within the application, this landing page will not behave the same as the regular User Detail page. The following behavior should be noted:
Therefore, after unlocking a user on the user detail page, it is not recommended to refresh that same page to view updated details on that User (login history, needed actions, etc).
It's advised to navigate to a new page and then back to the User Detail Page.
