After enabling Salesforce Lightning Experience, users may be unexpectedly redirected back to Salesforce Classic (internally known as 'Aloha') when navigating to certain records. This typically occurs when a Salesforce administrator has applied a Visualforce page override to the record detail view for a specific object. Visualforce is Salesforce's legacy page-building framework, and overrides using Visualforce are not automatically compatible with Lightning Experience.
