Beschreibung

After creating and assigning the necessary permission sets per the Enable CRM Analytics series of articles, sometimes Analytics Studio does not appear in the App Picker. When manually launched via Setup | Analytics | Getting Started | Launch CRM Analytics, the app menu may appear blank.

Also, when going to Create > Dataset and trying to upload a new dataset you will receive an error message:

"Application Error
Sorry! We encountered errors with the metadata file. Please fix the errors and then upload the metadata file again.
"

Clicking on the link will show the error to be:

"Invalid org id: [organization ID] or user id: 000000000000000"
Lösung

CRM Analytics requires two system-generated users with the Analytics Cloud Integration User license. If this license was manually assigned to a custom user before enabling CRM Analytics, the system cannot create these required users and Analytics Studio will not appear. To resolve this, remove the manual license assignment and follow the steps to re-enable CRM Analytics.

If the creation of these users is blocked in any way, CRM Analytics will not be enabled correctly. Follow the troubleshooting steps here to address issues that may be blocking the proper enablement of CRM Analytics.

Another cause of this issue is when a custom user is assigned to the "Analytics Cloud Integration User" license before CRM Analytics is enabled. If this is done, the process to create these users will fail when it cannot find any available licenses to assign them. Only the two system-generated users will use this license and it should not ever be manually assigned to users. Steps to address this situation can be found here.

There are scenarios where Analytics Studio Tab is hidden within the User's Profile. To ensure the Tab is not hidden, ensure that object "Analytics" objects are set to "Default On".

Lastly, verify that the Analytics Studio App is assigned to the affected User's profile.

More details regarding CRM Analytics enablement can be found here.
