Increase the number of Scheduled Dashboards, Reports, or Snapshots in Salesforce Classic

Note: The limits described in this article apply to the Salesforce Classic user interface only. The same process does not apply to report and dashboard subscriptions within Lightning Experience.
Salesforce Classic limits the number of scheduled reports, dashboard refreshes, and report snapshots per org to prevent performance degradation across the platform. These limits vary by org edition and are described below.

Default Limits for Scheduled Reports or Snapshots

  • Professional and Developer Edition:
    • One per hour, up to a maximum of 200 total
    • Off-peak hours only (between 6 PM and 3 AM local time)
    • Limited to three preferred start times, which cannot be changed
  • Enterprise Edition:
    • One per hour, up to a maximum of 200 total
  • Performance and Unlimited Edition:
    • Two per hour, up to a maximum of 200 total

Default Limits for Scheduled Dashboard Refreshes

  • Enterprise Edition:
    • One per hour, up to a maximum of 200 total
  • Performance and Unlimited Edition:
    • Two per hour, up to a maximum of 200 total

These limits are set by Salesforce to protect platform performance and cannot be increased through the Support team. To increase your scheduled item limit, you must purchase additional schedules through your Account Executive.

Purchase Additional Schedules to Increase Your Limit

If you have reviewed all relevant documentation and would like to purchase additional schedules, please speak with your Account Executive. Support is not able to assist with this increase.
For Partner-owned organizations:

  • Have a System Administrator log a case with Salesforce Partner Support.
  • Include all important details including the Organization ID and a business case for the request.
