This article explains how to resolve the error "Your Password cannot equal or contain your user name" in Agentforce Sales, formerly known as Sales Cloud and Agentforce Service, formerly known as Service Cloud when setting a password. 

Résolution

To resolve the error 'Your Password cannot equal or contain your user name,' choose a password that does not include any part of your username (the string before the @ symbol). 

This error occurs when the string before the @ in your username is included in your password. 

For example, if your username is test@sfdccompany.com, you cannot include the string test in your password.

 

  • Invalid passwords (these will trigger the error): test12345, testadmin

  • Valid passwords (these will save successfully): te12345st, tes12345

 

Please set a password that does not contain your username and try saving it again.
