The Lightning Sync setup page includes a field called Additional Domains to Sync. Add domains to this field if any users assigned to the Lightning Sync configuration have a different domain in their email address than the one specified for the Service Account user. Enter the domains separated by commas.
Why this matters: For example, if your organization uses multiple email domains — such as sales@company.com and support@companyregion.com — and only one domain is registered as the Service Account domain, users on the secondary domain will not sync contacts or events correctly unless those additional domains are listed here.
Example: Additional Domains to Sync: xyz.com, abc1.com, mycompany.com
Important: Lightning Sync is no longer available for new customers as of Winter '21. Existing customers should consider migrating to Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) as the successor product. See Lightning Sync: Not Available for New Customers as of Winter '21.
Follow the steps below to add additional domains in the Lightning Sync configuration. These steps apply to existing Lightning Sync customers. Note that after saving, your email admin must re-authenticate by re-entering the service account credentials.
