Do not send emails when files are shared to a User in Chatter

Описание

By default, files shared with the "Shared with People" feature send an email. The recipient can disable this email:

Classic

1. Click your profile name.
2. Click My Settings.
3. Click Chatter | Email Notifications
4. Deselect "Sends me a message."
5. Click Save.


Lightning Experience

1. Click View profile.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Chatter | Email Notifications
4. Deselect "Sends me a message."
5. Click Save.


 

Решение
If a file has been shared to a user via the "Share with People" option:
  • Recipients receive a Chatter message on their My Messages page on the Chatter tab.
  • The user may also receive an email notification regarding the new Chatter Message.
If a user does not want to receive email notifications for shared files, they may disable their "Sends me a message" preference. Please review Navigate to Chatter Email Settings for instructions on locating the preference.

Note: If you disable "Send me a message"  for any Chatter file, then you will also not receive any email notification when someone sends a private or direct message. 
Also, if the user replies on top of the chattered File Shared Email Notification, it is delivered to the Email Address set under Setup | Chatter Email Settings.
