Change Dashboard Object Width

Simply follow the steps below:

Salesforce Classic

1. Open the Dashboard in which you would like to change size of the object.
2. Click Edit.
3. Each dashboard object will have a drop down on the top left, to resize the column.
4. Set the desired size: Narrow, Medium, or Wide. The three columns of the dashboard have their own independent sizes which is preset.
5. After selecting the size of the columns, click Save.

Lightning Experience

1. Open the dashboard in which you would like to change the object width. 
2. Click Edit.
3. Click on the individual component you would like to resize.
4. You will see border lines on that particular component.
5. Using the border lines as guides, drag a side or corner of the particular component to the desired size.  

Note: This component can be only re-sized as per the tiles in background.
