How to Delete Files and Content Deliveries in Salesforce Classic (Not Available in Lightning Experience)

Description

Chatter Files can be accessed in Salesforce Classic by navigating directly to the Files tab, or by clicking the Chatter tab and choosing Files on the left-hand side. When you access Files through this view, you are not presented with an option to delete files or content deliveries directly from the list view.


Note: Content Deliveries are not available in Lightning Experience. The steps in this article apply to Salesforce Classic only.

Résolution

To Delete Files in Salesforce Classic

  1. Navigate to the Files list:
    1. Click the Files tab, or
    2. Click the Chatter tab and then Files on the left.
  2. Click on the file name.
  3. Click Go to Content Details Page.
  4. Click Edit and select Delete Content.

 

To Delete Content Deliveries in Salesforce Classic

  1. Navigate to the Files list:
    1. Click the Files tab, or
    2. Click the Chatter tab and then Files on the left.
  2. Click the name of the file used to create the content delivery.
  3. Click Go to Content Details Page.
  4. Click Deliver Content and select Show content deliveries.
  5. Click on the content delivery name.
  6. Click Delete and then OK.
