This article explains how to create a custom report in Salesforce to view tasks associated with Work.com Goals (WDC). There is no pre-built report type for Goal tasks, so you must first create a custom report type that relates Goals to Activities.

Solución

To report on Goal tasks in Salesforce Work.com (WDC), you need to first create a Custom Report Type linking Goals to Activities, then create a report from that type:

  1. Login to Salesforce and go to Setup and enter Report Types in the search box.
  2. Select Report Types and Continue if the "What is a Custom Report Type" dialog displays.
  3. Click the New Custom Report Type button.
  4. Select Goals as your primary object then fill in the remaining information and hit Next button.
  5. Click the Click to relate to another object link and select Activities from the picklist.
  6. Select the '"A" records may or may not have related "B" records option and hit the Save button.
  7. Go to the Reports tab and create a new report based on the report type you created. This report will contain fields from the goal and related tasks.
